This lovely pair of holiday cottages near Tewkesbury is located in 15 acres in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, in the Cotswolds. It is a fantastic choice for friends, hen parties, 3 generation families, weddings and business groups to get together in a pretty setting for a weekend break, special occasion or team building activity. Dogs can be accommodated.
There's an outdoor pool (heated May to September), play area, Wendy house, croquet or football area, and the covered games room has table tennis and darts - plenty to keep everyone occupied. Guests can enjoy the stunning gardens and grounds, which centre around beautiful 2 acre boating lake, a wilderness that is home to a variety of wildfowl, all a children's paradise.
The Courtyard Cottages are connected through a stunning archway. Living rooms are light and spacious with bow windows, beams, wood burning stoves and lots of antiques. The Coach House has 2 refectory tables providing inside dining for up to 24 guests so the whole group can eat together. Outside seating for each unit is ideal for a barbecue or enjoy the picnic area next to the firepit.
The convenient mix of doubles (mostly zip & link), twins, triples and family rooms works well for a mixed group. The ground floor room in the Coach House with adjoining wet room is a thought for anyone less mobile. Accommodation is comfortable with crisp white bedding, and decorated in a quintessentially English country house style. There is a combination of en suite shower rooms and shared facilities across all 2 cottages.
Extras are available - hot tubs can be hired, catering provided, art and craft activities, riding and childcare. Our main activities are pottery and printmaking on site.
Wander into Kemerton for a coffee in the local cafe or perhaps a pint and a pizza in The Crown Inn. Bredon Hill, at 1000 feet, is a joy for long rambling walks and runs up to the Iron Age Fort. The village of Broadway, and Cheltenham racecourse are within 10 miles.
