The quirky Cow Shed converted barn is a delightful holiday house near Buxton, sleeping up to 10 and perfect for multi generation families, friends, girls getaways and special interest groups. Living rooms have a light and airy modern style but with beautiful traditional beams as a nod to its past as a working farm building. The patio area with 6 seater Canadian hot tub is a great spot for chilling out and taking in surrounding farmland views while the kids run around on the enclosed garden lawns burning up some energy.

This is a lovely property to enjoy just being together in. The 10 seat dining room is ideal for groups wanting to celebrate a special occasion with loved ones around a long sociable table. It's no chore to cook for everyone on the Rangemaster stove and the kitchen table and chairs is ideal for a family breakfast. If it's a big anniversary, why not ask about hiring in a private chef to serve a meal inside or outside on the patio. And on a sunny spring morning, take your coffee outside and watch the newborn lambs.

The sitting room has bright block colour design exuding cheeriness and comfort with cushiony sofas, French door garden access and a big TV with Sky and Netflix. It's perfect for family viewing although extra TVs in the kitchen and master bedroom provide choice for different ages. Because The Cow Shed is an old building, there are narrow staircases and low beams that might prove tricky for anyone less mobile. However, the ground floor master bedroom is popular with young families or grandparents having the benefit of an en suite. All bedrooms are spacious with simple decor and cool white linen, a combination of twins, a double and a king.

The Cow Shed is a holiday home offering a great base for all levels of walkers and cyclists. A stroll to the local pub is do-able in 20 minutes but it's equally easy to access longer trails including the Limestone Way. There are many attractions nearby to choose from - why not take the 25 minute drive to Chatsworth House, famed for art, history and the film location of favourites like Peaky Blinders and Pride and Prejudice.
