Risingham House, which is recently built, sits in an elevated position with views to the Cheviot Hills. Built in a traditional style, this accommodation has family in mind; the open plan kitchen with AGA, dining and sitting room with log burning stove provide for a relaxed sociable space. The property has four individually designed bedrooms; two superkings, a zip/link and a twin provide for versatility.
Outside there are extensive grounds to explore but each house has an enclosed garden with patio and seating, perfect for an evening of stargazing with a steaming hot chocolate in hand.
The estate's woodland cabin, the Quarry Bothy, can be taken in addition to the accommodation. The Bothy has recently been rebuilt and offers a unique rustic off grid experience for dining or simply relaxing with friends and family in front of the wood burning stove or lazing on the lawn gently warmed by the firepit with views to the heather clad hills.
Keen fishermen will be thrilled by the prospect of 3 private miles of the river Rede, the main tributary of the North Tyne which is arguably England’s most productive salmon fishery. This fly water can be fished for wild brown trout and salmon when the season allows.
