Craig-y-Nos offers a unique experience in a romantic Welsh castle complete with ghost walks along the corridors and wards of what was once a hospital.

For a wedding, business event or occasion, guests stay in one of a range of luxury en suite hotel rooms, making the most of all that the hotel has to offer including a great dining experience, use of the gym and spa, and the best of service. Some rooms are dog friendly too, with the castle perfect for dog walks in the attached country park of enclosed fields and streams. Ground floor rooms are accessible.

The Nurses' Block is a great base for exploring the Swansea Valley. Walkers, cyclists, bikers, stags and hens will love the position of Craig-y-Nos with access to motorbike schools, mountain trails and fabulous local pubs or, further afield, Swansea's night life. There is no dining room in this dorm style accommodation, and only simple kitchen facilities, but if the whole Block is booked for 21, and providing there is no exclusive event on in the castle, guests can book dinner in the castle restaurant. The 11 bedrooms are configured as doubles or twins with some joining rooms for families. There's also 1 single bedroom. Bathroom facilities are shared within the building.

Ystradgynlais is an interesting little town just 10 minutes away offering independent shops and a cafe culture vibe. For motor bikers there are various schools nearby and off road courses.
