The area also boasts the peaceful harbour which is the natural habitat of an array of wildlife including whooper swans, puffins and seals.

Situated just 30 miles from John O'Groats, Craiglea provides for a unique Scottish atmosphere to enjoy a wonderful Highlands adventure.

Craiglea is a 4 star Scottish Highlands retreat comprising three listed guest houses, and has an indoor leisure area with a private heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and relaxed seating to overlook the stunning scenery. Craiglea offers its guests luxury accommodation in one of the last unspoilt locations in the British Isles boasting unparalleled natural beauty and seclusion, breath-taking landscape views, pure air, centuries of history and heritage, friendly locals and privacy.

Nestled in a picturesque hillside in Latheronwheel, Caithness, Craiglea is the perfect place to escape from it all and where the only stress is to choose between the thrills of the many outdoor pursuits on offer or the tranquility of stunning natural surroundings.

Craiglea can accommodate family holidays, groups of friends away together and a whole spectrum of corporate events including group bonding and team building exercises.

Guests can enjoy a range of activities including mountain biking, guided walks and hikes, wildlife tours, falconry, deep sea fishing, shark fishing, gamefishing and gameshooting, whisky trails and tasting, golf and clay pigeon shooting, to name a few.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets allowed for a fee of £35 per dog.
- **Accessibility:** There are ground floor bedrooms and an accessible bathroom, however most of the living space is upstairs.
- **WiFi:** There is good WiFi throughout most of the property.
- **Kitchen:** 2 fully equipped kitchens, each with a fridge / freezer, oven, microwave, electric hob, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine.
- **Dining Room:** 3 dining rooms. 2 in the main houses with an interconnecting door, and 1 in the barn. We have extra tables that can accommodate large groups together.
- **Sitting Room:** 3 sitting rooms (combined with dining rooms).
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Satellite TV and DVD player in each of the sitting rooms and music system in swimming pool area.
- **Games Room:** There is a table tennis table in the swimming pool area.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** There are open fires in the 2 main dining rooms and central heating throughout.
- **Bedrooms:** There are a total of 8 bedrooms, 3 with en-suite bathrooms. We also have extra beds and cots available if necessary, plus 3 sofabeds.
- **Linen:** Linen, towels provided for all guests plus extra for swimming pool.
- **Bathrooms:** There are a total of 10 bathrooms, 3 en-suite, 3 family bathrooms and 4 toilets.
- **Children's Facilities:** There are 3 cots and a couple of high chairs.
- **Outdoor:** There is a BBQ in the spacious garden and a sitting area with a stunning sea view.
- **Swimming Pool:** Large indoor heated swimming pool, with Jacuzzi. There is also a sauna and sitting area in the swimming pool room.
- **Parking:** Off street parking.
- **Smoking:** No smoking please.
