The Crescent was a 10 bedroom hotel before it was restored and modernized by architect-owner into two side-by-side houses which works perfectly as one combined letting to allow your group to have as much or as little privacy as you want. The Crescent is family friendly and accepts dogs.

The Crescent is perfectly located near moor and shore in this wonderful village near fabulous coastal paths, moorland walks, local swimming beach, with both sandy beaches and rocky shoreline close by, and Woolacombe surfing. There are great views to sea and to fields, and the house is situated in the heart of an amazing village with 2 excellent pubs. A wonderful location for short breaks with friends and longer family holidays.

The well designed kitchen has a table able to seat up to 18 together. There is a front balcony on the first floor, and sea views from sun terrace to the rear. As well as access from the front of the house there is rear access via communal grassed laundry drying yard.

The house benefits from WiFi broadband, 2 flatscreen TVs, DVD, HiFi with iPod dock, free outgoing UK landline phone calls.

Environmental design features including a solar thermal system on the roof.

There is private parking for two cars directly outside the house, with other cars parking in the convenient public car park.

The Crescent is situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB ), Unesco Biosphere reserve, a conservation area and surrounded by National Trust farmland. It is near to various golf courses including Mortehoe and Woolacombe Golf Club and Saunton Sands.

Normally we book weekend stays arriving Friday and leaving Monday (our weekend guests often need to leave on Sunday, but they get to stay at the house as late as they like on Sunday) or 1 week with a Friday handover. At some times of the year we have flexibility in booking durations. If you see a gap in our calendar, please enquire.
