Lockable fire-doors within the Coach House create 2 separate self contained areas if required, each with a kitchen and living room. Or a group can take the whole of the Coach House as one.
Coach House offers all the comforts that you would expect to find in a property of this calibre. Laundry room, extra fridge, washing machine and dryer. The huge stunning family kitchen has a 4 door Aga, additional oven and hob, wood burning stove, family fridge and dishwasher.
A large farmhouse table seats 17 people, at one end of the kitchen next to the comfy sofas and log burning stove. If you prefer to dine in style, head to the separate dining room with open fire, a cosy yet elegant place to dine with friends.
Dinner over, the sitting room offers the ideal place to relax. With a large open fire and comfortable seating, it is a lovely place to end the day.
For those with children (or just children themselves!) we offer a separate living/playroom with table tennis. Upstairs are 8 comfortable bedrooms including 3 king size rooms (en suite), 2 doubles and 2 twins (1 ensuite) and 1 single, plus 2 family bathrooms. Downstairs there is a further twin room, power shower, WC and washbasin.
The house is fuelled by Biomass heating, so is toasty warm at all times - a welcome feature in the depths of winter much appreciated by our guests. We provide unlimited wood for the open fires.
The Wing, a stylish apartment at the rear of Crogen Hall (across the large lawn that separates it from the Coach House) is a perfect overflow and peaceful refuge for members of large parties preferring to be self contained.
Outside are various spots to sit. A private walled garden with south facing veranda (seating 30) is a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine. Or head to the side lawn and watch the sun go down behind the mountains.
All-weather tennis court, and fishing by arrangement.
With mountain lakes and private woodlands, there's little chance of bumping into anyone. Bala Lake Water sports within 10 mins, and fantastic white water 20 minutes away.
