## About The Property

Currantberry Barns offer a stylish venue for get togethers and country weekends away with friends, just 15 minutes from the historic city of York with its many attractions.

Currantberry Barns comprises 3 glamping pods and a cabin, allowing each family group their own private sleeping accommodation, and a large shared social space in an adjoining barn. The large open Main Barn houses the kitchen, dining room able to seat 16 + and a comfy living space with sofas and TV, able to seat the whole group. There's even a cosy bar area too. Large glazed doors open onto a balcony - the perfect spot for enjoying a drink while watching the sun set.

Also in the Main Barn is a spa room where your group can relax and enjoy a range of treatments provided by our in-house therapist, along with a changing room. And there's a children's games room too.

Also available to hire is a self contained 5 bedroomed cottage adjacent to the site. This house is available to families only in July / Aug, Easter & School Holidays.

A whole host of other entertainment options are also available. Why not get involved in a yoga or pilates class, arranged for your group in-house. Or try a dance class with the session specially choreographed to suit your group. Outside activities can also be arranged, including old fashioned sports day events, assault courses and inflatable games - lots of fun for the whole family.

Another option is to get crafty, with sewing or pottery classes available with an end product for you to take away as a memento. Or try your hand at creating delicious patisserie or chocolates in a masterclass with our chef - and then relax and enjoy a special afternoon tea, followed by a session learning to make cocktails before a sumptuous dinner created for you.

- **Dog Friendly:** Sorry - no pets accommodated in the Barn, we do accommodate them in our other holiday cottage, please email for details.

- **Kitchen:** Huge kitchen/dining/living room in Main Barn. Supermarkets deliver here. Fan oven, microwave.
- **Dining Room:** Large open plan living and dining space. Dining table seats 16 +.
- **Sitting Room:** Open plan living/dining area with Juliette glass balcony. Bar area. Comfy seating for the whole group.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** TV/DVD player in the living area.
- **Games Room:** Children's room with lots of toys, dressing up, Nintendo Wii.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Oil central heating.
- **Bedrooms:** 3 pods, each with double and 2 singles (2 with en suite wc), cabin with double and 2 singles (en suite shower and wc). Disabled accessible room.
- **Linen:** Bed linen, hand towels and tea towels provided. Please bring your own bath towels.
- **Bathrooms:** 4 bathrooms in total. 1 en suite shower room. 2 en suite wcs.
- **Children's Facilities:** Children's games room with toys. High chair, travel cots - available on request.
- **Outdoor:** Green open spaces for picnics, games and family fun. Gardens not to be used after 10pm please.
- **Swimming Pool:** There's no pool. A hot tub can be added on request for an extra charge
- **Parking:** Allocated parking spaces x 7.
- **Smoking:** No smoking please.

- Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 11am on Sundays or 10pm on Mondays/Fridays.
- 25% deposit to secure booking, balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Refundable damage deposit of £200.
