Dale House is a beautifully refurbished farm house situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Litton. Set in it's own grounds and surrounded by wonderful views this property is perfect for large group and family gatherings looking for a peaceful retreat.
It's location is slap bang in the middle of the Peak District National Park makes Dale House the perfect base to explore the wonderful sights and attractions the Peak District has to offer. The attractive village of Castleton, famous for it's Blue John mines and caves, is nearby as are the picturesque market towns of Bakewell and Buxton. Some of the Peak District's best walking routes can be found near to the property; from the doorstep you can walk to beautiful Litton, Millers, Tideswell and Cressbrook Dales.
This spacious property oozes country charm and with two sitting rooms, both with the luxury of a log burner, there is plenty of space to relax and unwind after a fun-filled day exploring the Peak District. The impressive dining room runs length ways through the centre of the property and provides a great central hub for large groups to socialise together.
There are twelve large luxurious bedrooms (ten in the main house and a further two bedrooms in Dale Barn located next to the main house) which have been carefully considered and all have the option of being a twin or double. Many of them also have bunk beds allowing for the greatest flexibility in sleeping arrangements as we realise that groups come in all shapes and sizes.
Dale House is a fantastic venue for groups wanting relaxed stays, a family gathering or even a business group looking for something a little unusual. One of its greatest assets is the garden, stretching around 3 sides of the house, where there is plenty of space for ball games and maybe even a game of hide and seek!
