The Dale Manor is a unique, boutique style group accommodation venue, taking full advantage of the beautiful picture postcard village setting and its central position within the country.

Allendale lies in Northumberland, 34 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne in the East and the same from Carlisle in the West, 100 miles from both Edinburgh and Leeds. The property is always hired on an exclusive use basis, so it can feel like your home away from home.

The Dale Manor downstairs layout is comprised of a generous lounge and dining area facing the Market Place, with a log burning stove - a welcoming space to entertain, watch a movie and relax. The kitchen with its big range cooker and access to pantry space in the cellar offers the opportunity to rustle up a feast and has direct access to the patio and large garden beyond.

The 2 floors above have 7 luxurious en suite bedrooms, accommodating between 2 and 4 people each, achieving a maximum occupancy of 18 guests.

The wow factors of the property are 3 main features:
- A Games Cellar – taking advantage of the original vaulted ceilings to create a wonderful atmosphere in the cosy former wine cellar with seating, a dart board and table football.
- The Greenwood Loft Spa features a sauna, Jacuzzi hot tub on the roof terrace and comfortable seating, a walk-in shower, a fridge to cool drinks and views across the valley, west facing – this will be the perfect place to enjoy the sunset. Our own beautician can be booked for treatments in the Greenwood spa.
- A carefully landscaped garden allows groups to enjoy a barbecue, sitting around a bonfire, sipping sunset drinks on the gin deck, lounging in comfortable deck chairs and for the children there is a large lawn and play area.

Nearby: Two cosy country pubs, two fabulous cafes and tearooms, Sinderhope Pony Trekking Centre, the Allendale Golf Course, Tennis courts, Hadrian's Wall Heritage and the Langley Fishery, Beamish Museum, the coast and much more.

We are offering a one of a kind venue which is achieving a national reputation for small family and social gatherings at a reasonable rate affording a so far unavailable level of individuality and luxury in the Allen Valleys.

Dog Friendly

One well behaved pet is allowed, it must be kept off the furniture and downstairs over night.

Unfortunately there are stairs to all floors with no lift.

There is WiFi into all bedrooms, spa and living areas.

Kitchen

Features a 5 ring gas cooker, extra large electric oven and full sized dish washer. There is a washing mashine in the downstairs cloakroom.

Dining Room

The bespoke industrial dining table seats up to 18 guests with its feature lighting and big south facing window.

Sitting Room

The sitting room (open plan to dining room) has a log burning stove, large TV and comfortable seating for all guests.

TV and Music Facilities

There are 9 flatscreen TVs in the property (one in each bedroom, sitting room and spa). In addition, there are speakers to stream your music.

Games Room

Our games cellar features a dart board and football table.

Heating and Open Fires

There is a log burning stove in the living room. The downstairs features underfloor heating whilst the rest of the property is fitted with radiators.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms are en suite. Rooms 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 are south facing with large windows, rooms 4 and 7 face the garden with feature windows.

Linen

All linen is provided, your beds are made up for your arrival and 2 luxury towels are provided per guest. We can also supply bath robes for the spa.

Bathrooms

Cloakroom downstairs, an en suite to each bedroom (showers in all apart from room 6, which features a bath with shower over), shower-room in the spa.

Children's Facilities

There are children's toys and DVDs, a travel cot and high chair as well as a fire guard.

Outdoor

The patio allows for some space out of doors and the large landscaped garden has spectacular views across the valley.

Swimming Pool

There is a large public swimming pool in Hexham (15 min drive) and an outdoor swimming pool in Haltwhistle 20 minutes drive).

Parking

There is free and unlimited parking on the Market Place.

Smoking

Smoking is permitted out of the rear of the property and on the roof terrace.

Booking Information

To book a stay at the Dale Manor, we need to know the dates, number of guests and your postal address. We then send you a confirmation and a £400 damage and booking deposit invoice. This deposit will be returned after your stay. Payment for your stay is due 4 weeks before arrival. Min stay 2 nights.
