Set within a private 200 acre estate in Glenshee on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, Dalnaglar is a wonderful venue for bringing together family and friends for a holiday or celebration, or for incentive groups, weddings and corporate retreats. For a fully catered stay at the Castle we provide a leading private chef to suit your group’s tastes. Catering can also be arranged to include additional guests staying across the wider estate. The dining room seats 22 to 24 guests, with the option to reconfigure reception spaces and bring in round tables to host a group of up to 40. Guests enjoy exclusive use of the Castle and grounds, including elegant reception rooms, a grand drawing room suitable for a ceilidh, and an outdoor terrace overlooking the gardens, ideal for barbecues, whisky tastings and private events. The 4 self catering cottages are set within the estate and can be booked alongside the Castle or separately. Each cottage is comfortable, well equipped and enjoys estate views, with private hot tubs for relaxing after a day exploring. Estate country pursuits include salmon fishing, duck and pheasant shooting and deer stalking, with walking and cycling routes starting from the door.
