Debden House sleeps 18 across 9 bedrooms with additional foldout beds for a further 6 guests.

Debden House is a beautiful grade 2 listed building in Epping Forest. It has been decorated and refurbished over time, maintaining its many charming original features, and is located within 50 acres of private land and beautiful gardens.

This large group house near London is used mainly for conferences, meetings and residentials, but all types of groups are welcome - family and friends celebrating special occasions together, wedding parties for whom there are many options for receptions and parties, corporate groups and groups from youth and schools. The extensive grounds and gardens are available for guest use, and the spectacular Epping Forest is on the doorstep. Debden is also in a convenient position with easy access to central London and very close to good motorway links.

There are 5 main social rooms inside the house - the largest space can accommodate 75 people standing. There is a warm conservatory area for everyone to gather and meet, with a bar area and TV.

The Main house has 9 bedrooms, all with single beds, and a kitchen, dining area, conservatory and bar area. All the bedrooms come with fresh white linen, towels, televisions and a vanity sink in each bedroom. Due to the grade 2 listing of the house, only one bedroom is en suite, the others are shared bathrooms.

Facilities

5 burner cooker, hot plate, dishwasher, dryer, boiling water tap, microwave, 3 sinks, 3 large fridges, 1 large freezer, preparation and store areas.
Seating, cutlery, crockery and glasses for up to 36 people can be provided.
Conservatory area which can seat 20+ people, with a tea and coffee bar, TV, baby grand piano, bar - all in the same location.
TV in each bedroom and access to 2 televisions in communal areas. There are also three 84" interactive whiteboards for projection.
WiFi in all communal areas and bedrooms. There is an emergency phone in the reception area.
First room includes games such as Monopoly, Connect 4, table football. The second room is a cinema room with 84" projection screen and bean bags.
The building is fully central heated.
2 singles, 2 triple rooms and 5 twin bedrooms (1 en suite). Each room with a TV, vanity sink and wardrobes.
All rooms supplied with white linen and bed throws: mattress protectors, bed sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, towels at no extra cost.
There are 7 bathrooms. Most are shared bathrooms due to the listed status.
There are some ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms. We also have a ramp access, disabled lift and disabled toilet.
Travel cots and high chairs are available, please ask. We also have 6 pull out extra beds for larger families.
The site is situated in 50 acres of private land with a pond and beautiful gardens. There is outdoor garden seating, barbecue and fire pit.
There is no swimming pool on site. However, Loughton Leisure Centre is a 5 min drive.
There are 20 spaces around the house for cars, coaches and minibuses. More parking with an additional charge may be provided upon phoning the office.
No smoking inside the property but smoking is permitted in the gardens and outside areas.
No pets please.

Location

Located on the edge of Epping Forest, 20 mins from Stratford International Station (London), 5 minutes from the M11 & M25 and are easily accessible from 3 London Underground stations & home counties.
The closest town centre is Loughton. Loughton has many well known branded stores along with many independent shops. Loughton High Road is a 5 minute drive away.
Pyrles Lane parade is a 3 minute drive with a Nisa local, pharmacy, fish & chip shop, hairdressers and dry cleaners. The Loughton High Road is a 5 min ride with top quality bars and restaurants.
The closest pub is the Queen's head in Theydon Bois which serves great hot and cold foods. Alternatively, the Foresters Arms and Victoria Tavern in Loughton.

We are in between 3 Central line stations on the London Underground. Theydon Bois station is 1.3 miles, Loughton is 2.3 miles and Debden station is 1.5 miles in distance.
The nearest bus stop is a 8 minute walk and takes you to the Central line station on the London underground.
Stansted airport is the closest international airport, a 30 minute drive away (24 miles). Stapleford Abbots private airport is a 10 minute drive away.
