Debden House sleeps 18 to 52 in the Main house, Cottages and one 3 bedroom house.

Options available would be to hire

2). The Main House and Cottages sleeps 32-43
3). The Main House, Cottages and a 3 bedroom house sleeps 39-52

Debden House is a beautiful grade 2 listed building in Epping Forest. It has been decorated and refurbished over time, maintaining its many charming original features. It is located within 50 acres of private land and beautiful ornamental gardens.

There are 5 main social rooms inside the house - the largest space can accommodate 75 people standing. There is a warm conservatory area for everyone to gather and meet, with a bar area and 50 inch TV.

The Main house has 9 twin bedrooms with a kitchen, dining area, conservatory and bar area. All the bedrooms come with fresh white linen, towels, televisions and a vanity sink in each bedroom. Due to the grade 2 listing of the house, one bedroom is en-suite, the others are shared bathrooms.

The Cottages bedrooms also come with fresh white linen, white towels, televisions, vanity sinks, and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have access to WiFi. Two bedroom are en-suite the others are shared bathrooms

The centre is used mainly for conferences, meetings and residentials, but all types of groups are welcome - family and friends celebrating special occasions together, wedding parties for whom there are many options for receptions and parties, corporate groups and groups from youth and schools. The extensive grounds and gardens are available for guest use, and the spectacular Epping Forest is on the doorstep. Debden is also in a convenient position with easy access to central London and very close to good motorway links.

Facilities

Main house: 5 burner cooker, hot plate, commercial dishwasher, microwave, 3 sinks, 4 large fridges, 4 large freezers, preparation and store areas.
The dining room is bright and tastefully decorated. It can seat 49 people in one sitting and features a cooling salad bar.
Seated area which can seat 20+ people, with a tea and coffee bar, 52" TV, baby grand piano, bar - all in the same location. 5 social spaces in all.
Access to 2 televisions and a DVD player. There are also three 84" interactive whiteboards and a music box.
WiFi in all communal areas and bedrooms. There is a landline phone in the reception area. Mobile reception is good.
There are two entertainment spaces, The first Includes tables and chairs with games such as monopoly, connect 4 etc. The second room is a cinema room.
The building is fully central heated.
21 bedrooms, shared between main house, cottages and 1 house, mostly twin rooms, shared bathrooms, tea, coffee, TV in every room. 3 en suites.
All crisp white linen and bed throws provided: mattress and pillow protectors, bed sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, towels at no extra cost.
There are 9 bathrooms and 4 separate toilets altogether on site. Most are shared bathrooms due to the listed status.
There are some ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms and 1 specially adapted diabled access cottage which can sleep 2-3 people, which has a wet room.
Cots and high chairs are available, please ask. We also have pull out extra beds for larger families.
The site is situated in 50 acres of private land with a pond and beautiful ornamental gardens. There is outdoor garden seating, barbecue and fire pit.
There is no swimming pool on site.
There are approx 24 spaces around the house for cars, coaches, minibuses. There's an extra 24 Parking spaces from April to October.
No smoking inside the property but smoking is permitted in the gardens and outside areas.
No pets please.

Location

We are located on the edge of Epping Forest, 20 mins from Stratford International Station (London), 5 minutes from the M11 & M25 and are easily accessible from 3 London Underground st & home counties.
The closest town centre is Loughton. Loughton has many well known branded stores along with many independent shops. Loughton is a 5 minute drive away.
There is a parade of shops, a 3 minute drive, with an atm, Nisa store, pharmacy, fish & chip shop, newsagent, hairdressers and dry cleaners. Walking distance is 10 minutes.
The closest pub is the Queen's head in Theydon Bois which serves great hot and cold foods.

We are inbetween 3 Central line stations on the London Underground. Theydon Bois station is 1.3 miles, Loughton is 2.3 miles and Debden station is 1.5 miles in distance.
The nearest bus stop is a 8 minute walk and takes you to the Central line station on the London underground.
Stanstead airport is the closest international airport, which is a 30 minute drive away (24 miles). Stapleford Abbots private airport is a 10 minute drive away.
