Deer's Leap Retreat offers holiday accommodation situated in North Devon, nestled on the edge of Exmoor National Park which enjoys varied landscapes and some of the country’s most stunning and breathtaking coastline. With relaxed beautiful grounds, ideal for a group holiday.
The large Farmhouse sleeps 21 with 19 in 9 bedrooms and 2 on a comfy sofa bed in the snug. There is also room for 3 z-beds and or cots.
Hartford Cottage sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom - with a Jacuzzi. An extra guest can stay on a comfy sofa bed.
5 luxurious bell tents sleep 2 each with space for 2 additional guests (added guests bring their own beds and bedding) - each tent has its own private facilities including a mains toilet and shower. Glamping is available from May until the end of September.
Dogs are allowed at an extra cost. FH allows 3, HC allows 1, and tents allow 1 crated overnight.

Our large Farmhouse provides all the cosy home comforts and modern conveniences you could wish for, beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplaces and a large farmhouse kitchen with an Aga. For complete relaxation there are 2 hot tubs and a sauna, plus beautiful secluded grounds to unwind in. Enjoy sunsets by the lake drink in hand, stargazing by a fire pit on our patio, or maybe afternoon tea in our lakeside gazebo. Children will love rolling down our lawn and playing hide and seek in the grounds.
Hartford Cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway with its own private patio and hot tub.
For great on-site entertainment, there is an all-weather tennis court and a coarse fishing lake. We can also provide a range of Spa treatments, ideal to get you in a relaxed holiday mode. There is an abundance of picturesque walks for the casual walker or budding naturalist. Open moorland is within walking distance of Deer’s Leap and home to a wealth of wildlife including the ancient breed of Exmoor pony, and the famous red deer. You will also find some of the most beautiful beaches in the UK within easy reach - Croyde, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe, and Lynton and Lynmouth all provide great days out.
