A tranquil rural retreat in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales between Dent and Hawes sitting in the beautiful Cowgill. The house provides a perfect location to see the stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and access is easy to a variety of exceptional walks.
On the ground floor is the lounge, dining room, kitchen, games room and drying room. There is also a double bedroom and a shower room with toilet. On the first floor there are 6 ensuite bedrooms which have a selection of different sleeping arrangements to fit peoples needs. There is a large lawned garden which overlooks the stream and river.
All bed linen and towels are provided for the comfort of your stay. There is a wood burner in the lounge, a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge. There is hyper fast broadband with WiFi throughout the house, satellite TV, and a selection of games and DVDs.
There is ample parking and we have a No Smoking policy. Well-behaved dogs are welcomed.
Dent railway station is located 2 miles down the road and is the highest station in England which provides access to a variety of picturesque villages on the Settle to Carlisle railway.
A 10 minute drive away you find White Scar Caves which feature the longest show cave in the UK. The charming cobbled streets of Hawes are a similar distance away. Market day is Tuesday and other attractions include the Wensleydale Creamery (where the celebrated cheeses are made) and Outhwaites Rope Factory. The picturesque, Dent Village is 5 miles from the house and has a local museum, two pubs and a mediation centre.
