Delta North Consett, County Durham

Delta North Consett has a modern hostel accommodation. It is available all year round, and is ideal for all types of group including families, groups of friends, schools and colleges. Sleeping a total of 47, the hostel has 5, 6 and 7 bedded rooms, with shared bathrooms. There are several smaller rooms for group leaders if required. The rooms are made up of single beds and bunk beds.

There is a large conservatory with TV, a pool table and a small kitchen for making drinks or snacks plus a laundry facility. A commercial kitchen is available should groups require it - this is at an additional cost. We offer a variety of services from bed only to B&B and there is an option of booking an evening meal.

In the heart of Consett, our hostel isn't too far from local amenities and is also on the C2C route. As well as a variety of shops, restaurants and bars, there is also a local theatre and cinema as well as a leisure centre. There is parking situated directly outside of the reception area.

Consett is to be found on the eastern edge of the North Pennines and has open views over the surrounding countryside. It's also a short drive to the buzzing city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, with a wide range of bars and restaurants and other attractions. The location near the Pennines makes it a fantastic base for walking trips and groups looking to enjoy a range of outdoor activities.
