Denend Farmhouse is a charming hand-built stone bothy decked out in vintage colour style with glorious open plan living and every modern convenience to maximise warmth and comfort. This holiday house is perfect for extended families or friends getting together for a special celebration, but equally suitable for keen walkers with easy access to the Cairngorms National Park around an hour away. Denend Farmhouse is also an hour from Aberdeen, with the location making brining together groups from around the country straightforward.

Cook in the Everhot eco electric range cooker, a great addition for keeping the house toasty warm. Sit down at the kitchen dining table for 8 and enjoy catching up over delicious food and wine before relaxing by the cosy wood burner in the snug. On lovely evenings, spill out onto the deck and fire up the wood fired pizza oven or barbecue, and then sit back and relax taking in the gorgeous rural backdrop. Afterwards soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy stargazing or make plans for the next day. Denend Farmhouse is also dog friendly meaning the whole family can come away together.

Bedrooms are configured as 3 kings and a twin, with one of the bedrooms on the ground floor, working well for anyone less mobile. The ground floor room has an en suite with stunning roll top and there is a shared shower room upstairs.

It may be hard to drag yourself away from this fabulous characterful accommodation but there are plenty of interesting things to do in the area. Take a hill walk up Bennachie, just a 30 minute drive away, or follow the Malt Whisky Trail and Distilleries. Mountain biking at Glenlivet and Tarland is brilliant for outdoor enthusiasts, or head for some skiing at the Lecht Resort, accessible in a little over an hour.
