Denton House, Keswick, Cumbria, Lake District

Sleeps 10 - 66 8 Bedrooms 50 Dining

Comfortable bunkhouse in Keswick sleeping up to 66 for large group get togethers and outdoor activity weekends with friends in the Lake District

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Denton House, Keswick, Cumbria, Lake District, sleeps 10 - 66 in 8 bedrooms.

Denton House offers comfortable hostel-style accommodation in Keswick, available with sole use for large groups, and sleeping up to 66 guests. The hostel is designed for group use with plenty of hot water for showers, central heating throughout and self catering kitchens, a large dining room and solid bunk beds spread across 8 dormitory rooms.

Some of the bed spaces, a dorm sleeping 14, are in a separate building (the annexe) - this bunkhouse has its own toilets and showers.

Catering can be arranged on request, with breakfast, packed lunches and dinner (main and dessert) available to groups of 10+.

We have storage for bikes and there's access/egress to the River Greta just across the road.

Denton House is primarily an adult hostel, although under 16s are welcome in supervised groups in sole use dorms.

Situated in the heart of the Lake District, Denton House is a good start point for Latrigg, Skiddaw, Blencathra and the Borrowdale Fells.

Keswick is an excellent base for activities: canoeing and kayaking, sailing, cycling, paragliding, orienteering and many more. We can arrange some of these activities, or simply offer advice on routes and conditions. Whatever the weather's doing there's something to do, and even on those rare occasions it rains the surroundings are spectacular.

The town has an abundance of outdoor clothing and gear shops to suit all pockets and requirements.

There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes and gift shops to occupy time out. There are plenty of attractions that don't require too much effort; Trotters Farm is a favourite with kids and the theatre by the lake offers some culture.
