Situated in the heart of the Lake District, Denton House is a good start point for Latrigg, Skiddaw, Blencathra and the Borrowdale Fells.
Keswick is an excellent base for activities: canoeing and kayaking, sailing, cycling, paragliding, orienteering and many more. We can arrange some of these activities, or simply offer advice on routes and conditions. Whatever the weather's doing there's something to do, and even on those rare occasions it rains the surroundings are spectacular.
The town has an abundance of outdoor clothing and gear shops to suit all pockets and requirements.
There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes and gift shops to occupy time out. There are plenty of attractions that don't require too much effort; Trotters Farm is a favourite with kids and the theatre by the lake offers some culture.
