The open plan design is spacious, sociable and very stylish with large picture windows bringing the countryside in. Set in an acre of private grounds, there's plenty of space for children and dogs to run around safely too.
The kitchen is smart with the best of appliances and an island for food preparation, perfect for cooking a group meal. The inside dining table seats all guests for long dinners catching up. If the weather allows, head to the patio for coffee, a barbecue or a wee dram before bed time. Plush blue velvet sofas and a wood burner makes the lounge a cosy space for relaxing, or enjoy a family movie together.
Disdow House has ramped entrance on the ground floor for anyone in the group who finds steps tricky. There's also a ground floor bedroom and wet room with roll in shower. 2 of the bedrooms upstairs can be configured as super kings or twins to suit, all individually decorated with classy soft furnishings and occasional furniture, as well as more wonderful Galloway country views.

A few minutes from the house is Gatehouse of Fleet, an engaging little town with attractions including The Mill On The Fleet visitors centre. Other options for a day out include historic Cardoness Castle and Cally Gardens. Castle Douglas is worth a trip, a foodie town with lots of local produce available, and don't forget to try the famous local Cream o' Galloway ice cream and cheeses.
