Welcome to Domaine Le Repaire, a peaceful countryside retreat in the beautiful Dordogne, ideal for family holidays and getaways with friends.

Set in a quiet hamlet surrounded by rolling countryside, our two charming, fully equipped, stone cottages sit side by side and together accommodate up to 11 guests. Each cottage has its own private garden, terrace and barbecue, offering the perfect balance between shared moments and privacy.

The property offers a wide range of leisure facilities:

Two swimming pools, including a children's pool
A tennis court and pétanque court
Table tennis, badminton, a trampoline and outdoor play equipment
Fully equipped kitchens, comfortable living spaces and WiFi

Enjoy long lunches outdoors, relax by the pool, play a game of tennis or simply unwind in the peaceful surroundings. Domaine Le Repaire is a place to slow down and enjoy quality time together.

Located in the heart of the Dordogne countryside, the property is surrounded by forests, walking trails and beautiful landscapes. The village of Mareuil-en-Périgord, with its local shops and traditional producers' market, is just 2 km away. The picturesque town of Brantôme, historic villages, castles and local food markets are all within easy reach.

Accommodation details - the place consists of two cottages:

Chez Mimi sleeps 6, with 3 bedrooms (2 double beds and 2 single beds)
Chez Misja sleeps 5, also with 3 bedrooms (1 double bed and 3 single beds)

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Sorry - no pets accommodated. The owners have one very friendly dog who lives on site.
- **WiFi:** High-speed WiFi (fibre).
- **Swimming Pool:** 12 x 6m swimming pool with flat bottom, plus a 3 x 4m children's pool (50cm deep). Pool house, toilet, sun loungers and parasols.
- **Electric Vehicle Charging:** An electric vehicle charging point is available on site.
- **Tennis Court:** Enjoy a friendly game of tennis with family or friends on our private court.
- **Outdoor:** Enjoy plenty of outdoor activities: tennis, pétanque, swings, a large trampoline and table tennis. Discover a shaded spot with a natural spring.
- **Bedrooms:** Chez Mimi (120 m²): sleeps 6 - 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds and 2 single beds. Chez Misja (80 m²): sleeps 5 - 3 bedrooms, 1 queen bed and 3 singles.
- **Everyone Can Dine Together:** All guests can dine together around one table, both indoors and outdoors.
- **Linen:** Bed linen, bath towels and kitchen towels are provided. Guests should bring their own pool towels.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Both cottages have a wood-burning stove in the living area.
- **Children's Facilities:** Baby cots, high chairs and baby baths are available. Toys, small bikes and books are also provided for children.

## Booking Information

- Stay dates: during peak season, stays are generally from Saturday to Saturday, with a minimum of 7 nights. Outside peak season, shorter stays and more flexible arrival dates may be possible
- Check-in and check-out: check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is by 10 am
- Booking and payment: bookings are made directly with us. A rental agreement must be signed, and our bank details will be provided for payment. A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking and can be paid by bank transfer. The remaining balance is due no later than one month before arrival
- A £700 security deposit is also required. It will be refunded within 7 days of departure, provided no damage is found

Our two cottages are set in the beautiful Périgord countryside, just 2 km from the village of Mareuil-en-Périgord, where you’ll find all the essentials, including a bakery, grocery store, butcher, pharmacy and supermarket. There’s also a lovely local producers’ market every Tuesday morning.

Just a short drive away, discover Brantôme, known as the “Venice of the Périgord”, where you can enjoy canoeing, fishing, swimming, boat trips and riverside walks.

The surrounding area is full of charming villages, lively markets and wonderful places to explore:

Brantôme: a beautiful riverside town, perfect for a stroll, a boat trip or lunch on a terrace
Ribérac (25 minutes): a lively town with a large traditional market
Périgueux (35 minutes): a historic city with a magnificent cathedral, charming old streets and excellent restaurants
Angoulême (35 minutes): a historic city famous for its comic-book heritage, with plenty to discover
Aubeterre-sur-Dronne (40 minutes): one of France’s officially designated “Most Beautiful Villages”, with lovely streets and a remarkable underground church
