The facilities at Doves Barn include an 8 person hot tub and table tennis for guests to enjoy, as well as 2 acres of grounds and a spacious courtyard.
The holiday barn has a wealth of exposed beams. The ground floor includes a vaulted living room and two dining rooms, both with wooden floor and French doors. The kitchen has a breakfast area and there is a separate utility room with washing machine.
Spread over two floors are 8 bedrooms. On the ground floor are 4 bedrooms - one with 3 single beds and a double bunk bed (sleeps 4) and en suite, two with double beds, one with 2 single beds. On this level there is also a bathroom with roll-top bath, shower cubicle and toilet, also a further en suite shower room and toilet.
Spiral stairs lead to the first floor, where there is 1 double bedroom with en suite shower room and toilet leading to a galleried area with double bed and additional single bed.
A second staircase to the first floor leads to a galleried area with a double bed. There is also a further double bedroom (5ft four poster) with en suite shower room and toilet.
There is a warm welcome all year round with a wood burner in the large inglenook fireplace.
Doves Barn offers an ideal location for family celebrations, a get together with friends and Sophisticated Hens only, with Needham Market less than a mile away. The property also provides an excellent base for walking, cycling or bird watching and is conveniently situated to explore Suffolk. There are also direct train links to London and London Liverpool Street.
Bury St Edmunds with its cathedral, abbey gardens, Georgian theatre and the towns of Ipswich, Norwich and Colchester Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Walberswick, Southwold and Sutton Hoo, Long Melford, Lavenham and Kersey are all within easy reach.
