Downlands Farm, a group of 4 holiday cottages near Petersfield, welcomes families, friends, hen parties and small wedding celebration groups. An ideal set up for multi generational families or friends groups to get together for a holiday or weekend break in the beautiful rolling Hampshire countryside, Downlands Farm is only 1.5 hours from London and 30 minutes from Portsmouth with excellent transport links, making it a great location for guests coming from different parts of the country.

4 cottages provide choice and privacy for everyone and yet there are options for everyone to gather for fun in the games barn or for a go karting competition. Each property has its own garden but they are connected making it easy for a larger group to gather for drinks or a barbecue outside.

All of the cottages offer open plan living with spacious lounges and kitchen diners. Stable Cottage can seat a larger group. The owners have created attractive spaces to include well equipped kitchens with modern conveniences for a comfortable stay. Direct access to individual gardens is a bonus for somewhere to sit outside of an evening.

There is ground floor accommodation in all the properties plus an en suite, handy for anyone with mobility issues. Bedrooms are configured as doubles, a triple or superking. The hideaway bedrooms in the larger cottages are favoured by youngsters wanting their own space away from the adults. Bathrooms are plentiful with contemporary shower rooms and baths.

The smallholding is situated very close to the Hangers Way walking route between Queen Elizabeth Country Park and Alton Station, ideal for those wanting to walk or cycle from Downlands. Hampshire has a wide range of small museums to explore such as Jane Austen House in Alton and Gilbert White's House in Selborne. Paulton's Park and Peppa Pig World is 45 minutes away, an extremely popular day out for all ages with a combination of white knuckle rides and more gentle attractions. And of course the coast is within easy reach for a trip to Hayling Island and Portsmouth.
