This opulent yet comfortable country house has to be the perfect choice for a team break away from the workplace or for a small business events. Just a short drive from Edinburgh, Drylaw House is a convenient option for corporate groups to reconnect for team building activities. Delegates will leave feeling appreciated and rejuvenated, full of enthusiasm after a luxury stay in a beautiful property. Transport links are easy for those meeting from different parts of the UK, with Drylaw House close to Edinburgh Airport, railway station and M8/9 motorways.

The grand entrance hall is where the story begins, ideal for an arrival drinks reception before the hard work starts. 2 well equipped kitchens offer the options of catered stays or self catering and the formal dining room doubles as a great space for a full board meeting. There are plenty of other rooms available for smaller group meetings and breakout spaces, guaranteed to inspire creative ideas to take back to the office.

At the end of a long day, Drylaw House is a lovely place to kick back and unwind. Relax and feel pampered in the courtyard hot tub, sauna and steam room of an evening and catch up on the news or head upstairs to the oak panelled snooker room for some friendly competition with colleagues. Enjoy a nightcap in the outdoor bar area before bed.

The 10 bedrooms work well for a mixed group and are configured as doubles, twins, triples and a quad. Individual design for each as well as many traditional Georgian features mean thoroughly indulgent spaces for a good night’s sleep. Some also have en suite facilities.

The round lawn and extensive gardens provide in-house opportunities for team building activities and there are lots of walking and cycling trails to enjoy locally. The close proximity of Edinburgh allows for exploring world famous historic attractions such as Arthur’s Seat and Edinburgh Castle, or having a great night out together at one of many fantastic bars and restaurants.

- **Sitting Room:** The formal drawing room on the ground floor enjoys views over the front and rear lawns. There are two TV rooms on the ground and lower ground floor.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** There are two TV rooms and a docking station available.
- **Games Room:** There is an oak-panelled snooker room located on the first floor.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** The house has central heating throughout as well as an open fire in the drawing-room.
- **Bedrooms:** 10 bedrooms: 4 doubles, 2 triple rooms, 3 twin rooms and 1 room with a double and 2 single beds.
- **Linen:** All linen towels and towels for the spa area are included.
- **Bathrooms:** 3 house shower rooms, 2 house bathrooms, 2 en-suite shower rooms and 1 en-suite bathroom.
- **Children's Facilities:** Selection of books and board games are available.
- **Outdoor:** A large expansive lawn and patio area with table and chairs and BBQ. Spa courtyard with hot tub, sauna, steam room and outside bar area with fridge.
- **Parking:** Parking is available for approximately 10 cars.
- **Smoking:** This is strictly a no smoking property.
