The Ribble Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ideal for all kinds of gatherings, this cottage is well placed for those who want to walk from the door and explore locally or further afield. The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are both within driving distance.

Duddle Cottage is a beautifully renovated property, built with locally sourced stone and environmental features. For added comfort, the house has underfloor heating and well insulated hardwood floors throughout for maximum cosiness.

The ground floor is open plan and has been designed for guests who want to be together. The contemporary bespoke fitted kitchen is the ideal place to prepare dinner for friends or family. Then gather in the dining area and enjoy a really sociable eating experience. For a special celebration, why not ask the owners about hiring in outside caterers.

After dinner, move into the exceptionally spacious lounge where there is luxury seating for everyone and a wide screen Smart TV. Light the log burning stove on cooler evenings and watch a film or just sit back and chat with a glass of something nice. This light and airy space with floor to ceiling windows is perfect at any time of day.

Accommodation upstairs is tasteful and well presented with the wood theme continuing. The choice of twins and super kings are great for mixed age groups and the ground floor twin with en suite wet room is very handy for those who may have mobility issues. All bedrooms have en suite wet room facilities and most have an elegant walk in wardrobe. Of course there is a downstairs WC for added convenience.

The rear garden is lawned and the perfect place to sit and relax against the lovely Lancashire countryside backdrop and watch the children let off steam from the large hot tub or seating area.

As well as its fantastic landscape, the Ribble Valley is very proud of its heritage and history. Sites such as the 14th century Whalley Abbey, the Ribchester Roman Museum and the medieval Clitheroe Castle are easily accessible from Duddle Cottage and well worth a look for day out. There's lots of options for outdoor enthusiasts too, with fantastic walking for all levels of ability.

## Booking Information

- 3 night minimum stay and changeover day is usually a Friday. There is some flexibility in the low and mid season. We require 25% deposit to secure a booking and a final balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. There is also a good house keeping bond of £200 due 7 days before arrival.
