Overlooking the beautiful Strangford Lough with easy access to the car ferry, Duff House can be party central for up to 16 guests from 3 generation families, friends, Just a 10 minute walk from Kearney Beach and Ballyquintin Nature Reserve, this holiday house near Portaferry is all about the location. Comfortable accommodation combined with spacious living areas including a pool table, disco or cinema room and a hot tub (please note - disco/cinema room and hot tub involve extra fees) means that Duff House is a fantastic choice for having fun together with loved ones. There is a range of pubs and restaurants within a short stroll and recommended highlights such as Saltwater Brig in Kircubbin a short drive away.

Duff House has a fully equipped kitchen, great for cooking together informally. Eat as a whole group in the dining room or for informal breakfasts use the smaller kitchen table and chairs. The hot tub is a new addition and definitely the place to sit back and relax in the bubbles at any time of day or night. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood so please limit night noise after 10.00pm.

There are plenty of spaces for mixed groups to sit down together for great socialising, or to escape for some peace and quiet, including the lounge and drawing room, with garden views, plenty of seating and wide screen TV showing Prime and Netflix. Strut your stuff on the dance floor in the disco room or play pool late into the night. Lots of options.

All bedrooms have plenty of space and double beds with pretty soft furnishings. Facilities include an enormous family bathroom complete with attractive freestanding bath and shower over.

Hop on the ferry across Strangford Bay and pay a visit to Castle Ward, a double sided mansion house in its own glorious parkland and the location for filming parts of Game of Thrones. Exploris Aquarium on the Strangford Lough Nature Reserve is a must see for local marine and wildlife. Take to the Portaferry Heritage Trail to learn about local history and stop off along the way to sample a variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants. There are some great beaches in the vicinity including Kearney and Ballywater.
