Crossing the bridge to East Mills private island marks the start of a wonderful holiday or weekend break in the New Forest. Gather together family for a significant birthday celebration, friends for a reunion or even a small wedding in this delightful intimate location. These eco friendly holiday houses near Fordingbridge offer top quality accommodation in a beautiful location. 

The Lab function space is available for hire and perfect for all kinds of activities including commercial photo shoots, cookery courses and yoga retreats, or even for whole group dining. 360 degree views of the River Avon provide guests with opportunities to keep a look out for local wildlife - maybe try a spot of fishing during your stay too.

The open plan upside down living arrangement in the Old Mill is absolutely perfect for enjoying river and meadow views through enormous picture windows. This hugely sociable vaulted ceiling space makes meal preparation and eating together very easy, followed by relaxing in the lounge or outside next to the fire pit. Equally as stylish but more traditional in layout, Meadow Cottage has a light filled kitchen diner with bi-fold doors leading out to the patio and garden. The lounge can be found left off the entrance, a comfortable room with feature fireplace and large TV.

6 of the 9 bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, a consideration for multi generation families or anyone with reduced mobility. All twin rooms can be converted to kings, and all have en suite or private facilities.

With the New Forest National Park only 5 minutes away, there are plenty of cycling and hiking routes close by, many following the course of the river. Fordingbridge is within walking distance, with a museum as well as a range of shops, restaurants and pubs. Drive to the pretty Medieval cathedral city of Salisbury in 25 minutes or head to the Bournemouth Coastal Path and beach in half an hour. Stonehenge is within fairly easy reach.
