Facilities

Guests drinks kitchen with plenty of fridge space and constant boiling water.
Our large attractive dining room seats 36 people with a very flexible layout and a servery through to the main kitchen.
The lounge décor adds a fresh modern twist to the traditional, beautiful Victorian structure of the building. Seats 24.
Whilst there is no TV reception at the Lodge, guests have the use of our TV and DVD player for your own DVDs.
Payphone. Free WiFi.
We don't have a games room.
Our Biomass central heating keeps the Lodge toasty warm all year with unlimited hot water.
12 twin, 12 single, all en suite (some shared en suite), all equipped with hair dryers and linen.
All provided.
All en suite shower rooms.
The ground floor is fully accessible with no steps. There is one fully accessible en suite bedroom.
We are pleased to supply a high chair and travel cot, please let us know in advance.
The estate has 73 sq miles of mountain and moorland for you to explore on foot or by bike & 6 reservoirs. We also offer a range of outdoor activities.
Superb leisure pool in the historic market town of Rhayader, 3 miles away.
Ample parking (20 cars at least).

Location

The Lodge is situated on the Elan Estate which boasts 73 sq miles of stunning scenery. Protected by the Elan Trust, it has a real far away from it all feel. Yet its easily accessible.
Rhayader 3 miles; swimming pool, 2 small supermarkets, pharmacy, gift shops, pubs and coffee shops.
Rhayader for essentials. Llandrindod Wells 11 miles; 2 supermarkets including Tesco who will deliver to the Lodge.
