Ellie's Lodge is a former hotel which has been completely renovated to provide stylish and modern accommodation throughout. The house is ideal for large family get togethers, celebrations with friends, special occasions and even weddings. We are happy to accept responsible hen and stag groups too.

The ground floor of the building boasts the sitting room, bar and games area, an indoor sauna and the huge kitchen and lounge area with a wood-burning stove. The modern kitchen has everything you need to cater for a large group. For that special occasion or easy dining, why not arrange for external caterers to come in and provide everything for you!

Each of the 12 bedrooms has been tastefully decorated with individual colour palettes. All have en suite facilities, and a couple are on the ground floor and suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

The enclosed garden to the rear benefits from the 8-seat hot-tub, patio furniture and well-kept lawns. It's an ideal space for a barbecue!

Ellie's Lodge is located in the market town of Ulverston, 25 minutes from Jct 36 of the M6, so it is easily accessible. There is a train station in Ulverston which links to the West-Coast mainline at Lancaster. If you are wanting to explore, then it's just a very short drive to Windermere, Coniston and Barrow, all of which provide superb attractions and days out.
