This beautiful wedding venue is in a fantastic location between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. For guests travelling, Elm Lodge is accessed easily from the A685 and M6.

The sweeping driveway leads up to the romantic property and the first photo opportunity. The extensive grounds and pretty gardens form a fabulous backdrop for the big day with countless lovely places for wedding album shots. There is lots of space to put up a marquee for larger numbers.

Living accommodation is definitely dressed to impress with a long sociable table in a formal wood panel dining room, absolutely perfect for an intimate wedding breakfast. A well equipped self catering kitchen can be utilised by outside caterers for the big day. The drawing room is an elegant room too with opulent blue velvet seating and huge period windows, comfortable yet high end luxury and just the spot for after dinner coffee. The conservatory is a pleasant additional space to relax in before the celebrations begin.

Many couples take over Elm Lodge and make a wedding weekend of it. Arrive on Friday evening, settle in and chill out in the hot tubs before getting together for a pre-nuptials supper, either prepared yourselves or by hiring in a private chef. A game of billiards might be on the agenda afterwards with a nightcap before heading to bed. Or take a stroll over to one of the 2 local pubs in Ravenstonedale.

The bedrooms are all individually designed with lavish soft furnishings and period features. 6 of the bedrooms are en suite and 2 of the bathrooms have the most amazing freestanding baths for an indulgent soak. All look out over the landscaped gardens. What could be more pleasant than getting ready for the ceremony in this luxurious accommodation. And an easy climb to bed at the end of a fabulous day.

On the Sunday, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before taking a hike up Howgill Fells just above Ravonstonedale to clear groggy heads. Or head to the pub for lunch with the happy couple

## Booking Information

- Only full week booking during peak school holidays. A £500 damage deposit is payable on arrival and will be repaid within 48 hours of departure. Change over days are Monday and Friday.
