Elterwater Park Farmhouse sleeps 10

Once a 17th century traditional working farm, Elterwater Park is now a farmhouse and converted barns, surrounded by wonderful views of the Langdales and Loughrigg. It provides a peaceful and tranquil setting for your stay in the heart of the Lake District, for family get togethers and celebrations, or an active get away with walks from the door. Not suitable for hen/stag parties.

There are 5 individually designed bedrooms within the farmhouse, each with en suite shower, luxury toiletries and flatscreen TV. There are 3 double rooms and 2 twins ( two single beds) that can be made into a king. The dining room is bright and spacious, able to seat 18 and with windows that let in the morning sunshine, the ideal place to watch the birds on the bird feeders. See the chickens in the yard and enjoy their eggs at breakfast. The lounge has lovely views of the garden and a wood burning stove to keep you warm on cooler days. On warmer days you can sit in our beautiful garden, enjoy the views of the surrounding fells and watch the birds on the feeders.

Ample free off-road parking on the Cumbrian way. Secure bike store and drying room are available on request on site. We also have a Muddy Boots Tea Room that can be hired out for special occasions.

Whatever your interests, there is so much to see and do during your stay at Elterwater Park. We are perfectly located when it comes to walking as the Cumbria Way passes through the yard. Step from the door onto the Cumbria Way and walk to places such as Colwith Force, Tarn Hows or Elterwaters Lake of Swans. Be more adventurous and walk in the beautiful Langdale valley or other surrounding fells.
