With it's 6ft thick walls, these days it just keeps you cosy on the inside and when you step out introduces you to what is officially Britain's last Wilderness. Sleeping up to 12, it really is an exclusive and special holiday treat for celebrations/friends and family gatherings. Falstone Barns are nestled just to the side of the Farmhouse and are quite young by comparison, just 200 years old. Converted to 5 star specification, they provide 3 x 2 bedroomed apartments and 1 x 1 bedroomed apartment; together sleeping 14. Each are exclusively themed. The Barns overlook a south facing cobbled courtyard, with views of the valley below. Both Farmhouse and Barns command spectacular views of the valley, North Tyne River (boasting the best salmon fishing in England) and Northumberland's huge skies. The area is the natural habitat of the red squirrel and birds of prey, the nesting osprey being the feature bird.
