## About The Property

The Farm House can sleep up to 38 although with less people it is more comfortable and gives you more flexibility with the bedrooms.

Our fantastic location in the heart of the Peak District gives you access to wonderful countryside, interesting places to visit and towns/villages to explore. The traffic free Monsal Trail is accessible directly from our site and is popular with walkers and cyclists giving easy access to Bakewell and Blackwell Mill near Buxton.

Our self contained accommodation building the Farm House has its own fully equipped kitchen and dining/lounge room with an LCD TV and Bluray player. A double door from the dining room to the patio garden and a large BBQ make eating outside a popular option. The 7 bedrooms are a mixture of bunk-beds and single beds and accommodate 2-8 people; one bedroom has an en suite toilet. Free WiFi access is also available.

Having exclusive use of a building, rather than shared use of a larger building, is popular with our visiting groups enabling them to set up their own home from home. These groups can include family and friend’s gatherings and reunions, birthday parties and celebrations, sports clubs residential and training camps, band/choir/theatre/church groups.

The Farm House and our other self contained accommodation buildings can be booked together for larger groups of up to 86.

Our Base Camp kitchen and dining room, the camp site and Teepee village are also available to book by groups. This dining room which seats 60 is a great space to meet and eat together for larger groups.

We have a number of meeting and conference rooms, including a Yurt, available for day visitors and resident groups to book in addition to the accommodation buildings.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** We ask guests not to bring their pets, we have a no dogs on site policy (except for trained, registered assistance dogs).
- **Accessibility:** There are no disabled facilities. There is a step to enter the building.
- **WiFi:** Free WiFi access. Pay phone in Great Longstone.
- **Kitchen:** The kitchen and pantry are fully equipped with catering size utensils, small microwave, freezer, fridge, large catering cooker and grill.
- **Dining Room:** The dining room seats up to 36.
- **Sitting Room:** The Farm House has a small lounge area within its dining room.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** The Farm House has a LCD TV and Bluray player in the sitting room. Digital projectors available for meetings.
- **Games Room:** Separate room available by request, depending on availability (at an additional cost). Games include table tennis, table football, board games & more.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Gas central heating in all buildings. Outside campfire areas, with seating (available by prior request).
- **Bedrooms:** The Farm House has 7 bedrooms, with a mixture of bunk-beds and single beds ranging from 2 person to 8 person.
- **Linen:** Provided. Guests need to bring their own towels.
- **Bathrooms:** Three separate toilets and showers facilities. One bedroom 'Pooles' has an en suite toilet.
- **Children's Facilities:** Children are welcome on site although guests will need to bring their own cots & ensure their child's safety. We can provide 2 high chairs on request.
- **Outdoor:** We have 30 acres including outdoor seating areas, sports field, cycle trail and campfire areas (shared with our other accommodation buildings).
- **Swimming Pool:** The nearest swimming pool is in Bakewell, 3 miles away. Others nearby are in Hathersage (9 miles), Matlock (10 miles) and Buxton (11 miles).
- **Parking:** On site car park for 25 cars plus 1 disabled space (shared between all accommodation buildings).
- **Smoking:** Only in a designated area away from the buildings.

## Booking Information

- We offer a single price per accommodation building, giving your group exclusive use of the Farm House – no sharing with other groups.

- Bring up to 38 people, or fewer if preferred (more space for everyone!)
- All prices include VAT

- A refundable bond is required for all bookings. This will be returned approximately 10 working days after your departure, provided everything is in order.
-

- Early Arrival Option: If you’d like to arrive earlier for activities or meetings, please contact us to discuss availability.
