## About The Property

The Farmhouse at Benty Grange is located on the outskirts of the beautiful Derbyshire village of Monyash. Built in 1858, The Farmhouse was refurbished in 2018 and is brimming with character features and rural charm. This historical farmhouse sleeps 12 -18 guests in a secluded position with far reaching views of the beautiful White Peak countryside.

The property is in a perfect location for walkers, cyclists and families - in fact any large group that want to enjoy time together in one big fabulous barn. Within minutes you can walk to the popular Tissington and High Peak Trail where you will find a cafe and bike hire, or you can walk up the country lane to the picture postcard village of Monyash or pop along the trail to our award winning pub. The spa town of Buxton is close by with its Opera House and theatre, and the popular market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne are both within 20 minutes drive away.

An expansive open plan kitchen, living and dining area is perfect for socialising and entertaining. The space has a lovely flow and feel, a large island dominates the kitchen area and is perfect for those who like to be sociable whilst they cook! A family-sized dining table and chairs comfortably seats up to 18 guests and has wonderful views out of the French patio doors. At the other end of the space is a cosy soft seating area focused around a warming log burner. A further formal living room is just off the kitchen with 2 large sofas, this room has a lovely cosy feel and is ideal to retreat to after a long days walking.

Featuring 6 beautifully decorated bedrooms, all with modern en suite facilities. One of the rooms is a large family room with bunk beds and an additional bunk bed alcove which gives you flexibility with your sleeping arrangements.

Outside, the Farmhouse has a large decking area with soft seating, barbecue facilities and a garden to the side, perfect for alfresco dining in the warmer months.

The Farmhouse at Benty Grange is on a shared site with The Barn at Benty Grange, but with both properties having their own designated parking areas and fabulous outdoor spaces, allowing you privacy throughout your stay.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** We welcome pets but only by prior arrangement. A maximum of 2 dogs accepted.
- **WiFi:** WiFi is available via a satellite operation but due to the rural location this can be intermittent. You are unable to carry out downloads/watch films.
- **Kitchen:** A stunning and fully equipped open plan kitchen with a large central island, ideal for preparing meals and socialising together.
- **Dining Room:** Fabulous large wooden table seats up to 18 guests on benches and chairs. French doors at the end of the dining room with great views.
- **Sitting Room:** Cosy seating area by the kitchen with a log burner and a second lounge off the kitchen with 2 large sofas and television.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** A 27 inch TV and DVD player in the open plan living area and a further 59 inch TV and DVD player in the second lounge. Both have full Sky package.
- **Games Room:** To the rear of the property located in a rustic barn is a fabulous games room with a pool table, dart board and bar area.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout the property. 1 log burner – 1 x complimentary basket of logs supplied upon arrival.
- **Bedrooms:** 6 stylish and individual designed bedrooms, all en suite. One bedroom is a large family room with bunk beds and a further bunk bed alcove.
- **Linen:** Linen and towels included.
- **Bathrooms:** 6 luxury en suite bathrooms.
- **Children's Facilities:** Child/family friendly accommodation - cots/high chairs available. The house is so spacious there is plenty of space to run around inside and outside.
- **Outdoor:** Patio/decked area with plenty of seating and barbecue with your own private lawned garden to the side which is suitable for children.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is no swimming pool. The nearest is at Bakewell, 3 miles away.
- **Parking:** Ample private parking.
- **Smoking:** Please no smoking inside the house.
