Come to The Farmhouse at Gradbach and enjoy a secluded view from the oak-beamed lounge or relax in the private hot tub. Perfect for a weekend away with friends, an extended family holiday or a celebration, there's plenty of space for a large group to enjoy and explore.

All 7 bedrooms are en suite and sympathetically decorated with high quality furnishings.

There are 16 acres of woodland to explore, with the setting described by many as the most delightful and romantic of the valley.

The Farmhouse is located on the banks of the River Dane in the grounds of Gradbach Mill, in the tiny hamlet of Gradbach. Set in the secluded grounds of an 18th century stone built silk mill, both the mill and farmhouse are steeped in history dating back to the 1700's.

The Roaches, which is one of the UK's prime climbing destinations, and the wonderful hidden gem of Lud's Church are just a stones throw away. The beautiful Georgian spa town of Buxton is just 15 minutes drive away and hosts the Opera House, bustling markets, shops and a swimming pool. The market town of Leek is also just a 15 minute drive away. Other places worth a visit in the area include Bakewell, Tideswell and Hartington, with historic Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall also within half an hours drive of the Farmhouse.

Situated in the kitchen is a large oak table to seat 16 guests.

Large lounge area with oak vaulted ceilings and glass windows and doors throughout. With views to the hot tub and outside dining area.

TV and Music Facilities

There are TVs in every bedroom and the living room offering FreeSat channels. DVD player and Music system in the living room.

Games Room

The Den - you will find a variety of outside games including Jenga. A football table is also available in the Den.

Heating and Open Fires

The heating is controlled by the radiators and there is a wood burning stove in the kitchen.

Bedrooms

7 en suite bedrooms all with showers. 3 twin rooms, 1 twin room with cot, 1 double, 2 rooms with a double and a single bed. All en suite.

Linen

All bed linen and towels are provided with complimentary toiletries and slippers.

Bathrooms

All bathrooms have a shower.

Children's Facilities

There is one bedroom with a cot and also a travel cot available. We also provide 1 high chair.

Outdoor

Private gated garden for recreation. Outside table and chairs, a gas BBQ and the 8 person hot tub in a private location.

Free on-site parking is available next to the Farmhouse and has unlimited spaces.

The Farmhouse is a no smoking property but smoking is allowed outside.

Situated in the tiny hamlet of Gradbach in the beautiful Dane Valley. The Farmhouse is approximately 5 minutes from the main Buxton to Leek road. Walking is available from the door.

Buxton and Leek are both a 15 minutes drive.
Supermarkets can be found in Buxton - Waitrose and Morrison's, and in Leek - Waitrose, Sainsburys and Morrison's.
The Rose and Crown in Wincle is 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk.The Knights Table in Flash is 5 minutes drive.
Manchester Airport is approx. 1 hour drive away.
Buxton station and Macclesfield train stations are closest to Gradbach. Both 20 minutes drive away.
