This light-filled 16th century Farmhouse has been lovingly converted over many years. Architects Feilden Fowles seemed like a natural choice to help us with this project having won awards for their conversion of historic buildings. The design is simple, sympathetic and yet modern, adding a timber framed extension to the back of the Farmhouse which takes advantage of the wonderful evening sunshine and views over the fields towards the Tamar. It provides a very large and social space for cooking and entertaining.

The owners have worked in fashion and design for many years & have loved renovating Venn Farm. Their aim was to retain original features like the 16th century inglenook fireplace, and breathe new life into the building by opening up the space and introducing more light. Inside, they mix mid-century vintage finds, bold graphics and souvenirs from their travels, with pops of bright colours contrasting with crisp white walls, making this holiday house near Bude vibrant and unique. Artwork is displayed on walls and open shelves throughout the property, making the house feel homely. There are complimentary Haekels toiletries throughout.

There are 3 large reception rooms so plenty of space to spread out, including a snug with a smart TV. The kitchen/diner has bi-fold doors onto the terrace beyond where you will find the Gozney pizza oven. There are 2 family bathrooms, one upstairs, one downstairs. There are 4 bedrooms: the kingsize master has an en-suite, there's another kingsize bed, one double and a fourth twin bedroom.

The gardens are a mix of grassy areas - perfect for football, a formal garden, and a gravel garden with prairie grasses, small wooded areas with dens that kids love to explore. 

Venn Farm has three unique hideaways, designed for privacy which can all be rented separately or together. There are generous spaces to get together and ample space to spread out. Larger parties can rent with the adjacent Cob (sleeps 9) and Red Barn (sleeps 4) so 21 in total.
