Set around a lovingly restored 15th century watermill, this small collection of self catering properties is surrounded by rolling hills, woodland and the gentle sound of the river. It’s a place where friends, families and couples can slow down, relax and enjoy time together in beautiful natural surroundings. The combination of cottages and flexibility of bedrooms make this a great option for a gathering of mixed ages. Felin Crewi has direct access onto the Glyndwr Way for a walk from the door. Beaches within 30 minutes include Aberdyfi and Morfa Borth for fantastic family days out. Machynlleth is a short drive away and has a range of cafes, pubs and restaurants plus some interesting shops. Eryri (Snowdon), is just over an hour away for more challenging trails and hikes. Or guests can spend their time walking local riverside paths, cycling quiet country lanes or exploring nearby hills and forests. The historic watermill sits between a mill pond and a small waterfall and provides unique accommodation full of character. Original mill machinery can still be seen within the building, adding a fascinating glimpse into its past. There's comfortable living space and dining for 12, with views across the surrounding countryside. Outside is a seating area beside the waterfall, perfect for a quiet morning coffee or relaxed evenings with a barbecue. The Granary, once the dairy and stabling for the mill, has been carefully restored retaining traditional beams and slate walls, and now with a welcoming inglenook fireplace. A well equipped kitchen, utility room and outdoor seating area make it easy to settle in and enjoy a comfortable and relaxed stay. The long bench outside is a great place for everyone to meet up for a barbecue.
