This has to be the number 1 beach house for 3 generation families and friends to get together for a holiday by the sea. Apart from the obvious jaw dropping coastal views, a flight of steps will take you directly onto the stunning Lelant beach, known for crystal clear waters, a sandy expanse and being dog friendly all year round. Its location really couldn't be more perfect. A terrace hot tub and seating area overlooking St Ives Bay guarantees rest, relaxation and the well being of breathing in pure Cornish air.

This ground floor holiday house near St Ives enjoys sociable and spacious open plan living with a fully equipped kitchen and lounge diner. Ferryman's Rest is a place to visit in any season and the wood burning stove in the sitting room ensures maximum cosiness and comfort whenever. The terrace is a great barbecue area overlooking the beach and sea and somewhere special to catch up with loved ones either over morning coffee or evening drinks, taking in the scenery and listening to the soothing sound of waves gently lapping on to the shore just below, you will not want to depart.

Bedrooms are a versatile mix of kings and combinations of singles, ideal for mixed age groups. Comfortable spaces with clean cool design, picture windows, high quality bedding and attractive soft furnishings, conducive to the full 8 hours. Contemporary facilities include a family bathroom and separate shower room.

It is unlikely that you will want to venture far from Ferryman's Rest but its position on the South West Coastal Path makes it ideal for walkers. Either take a stroll to 1 of 3 pubs in Lelant or opt for a longer hike to St Ives. This seaside town is a true gem, famed for a pretty harbour, gorgeous beaches and rotating art exhibitions at Tate St Ives. Hayle is a fantastic base for exploring the area and experiencing water sports such as surfing, kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. Carbis Bay is nearby too and worth a stop off at one of its popular and trendy restaurants. Ferryman's is positioned directly adjacent to the West Cornwall Links golf courses for golfing enthusiasts. Who could ask for more.
