## About The Property

The Final Furlong is a fantastic house on the shores of the River Fertha and Wild Atlantic Way. It sleeps up to 16 and is the ideal retreat to gather friends and family for some quality time together. The waterfront location is a great starting point for beginning exploration of the Skellig coastline with amazing views and wildlife on offer. Easy access to The Kerry Way walking route and Beentee Loop makes walks from the door a great option. Take a boat trip to the Skellig Rock World Heritage Site for a look at the jawdropping sea crags and magnificent bird population including puffins. The town of Cahersiveen is within walking distance, a new foodie destination with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants to sample. Those who fancy a game of golf will only need to travel for 30 minutes to good courses in Waterville and Dooks. For guests who enjoy cycling, ask the owner about bike hire to go further afield.

The main attraction at The Final Furlong is its absolute proximity to the water and breathtaking views of the magnificent seascape. Sitting outside on the patio for morning coffee, afternoon tea or an evening glass of something chilled while the barbecue fires up is just perfect while the children have the chance to run around and make the most of the space. If the weather is less ambient, gather in the lounge next to the peat/wood fire to catch up with friends and family or to watch a film. Look through the large picture windows and absorb the views while sitting back on squishy sofas together. The well equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing meals to be shared in the lovely sociable dining room with seating for all or alternatively a smaller group can in the kitchen.

From an attractive downstairs hallway, the wooden staircase leads to 4 bedrooms, with 2 bedrooms downstairs, providing a choice of kings, doubles and singles configured to suit the most choosy of guests. All are individually designed with stylish and luxurious soft furnishings to create the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. Bathroom facilities are plentiful with 6 en suites and a family bathroom as well as a downstairs WC.

- **Bedrooms:** 6 bedrooms - 2 doubles, 2 doubles with a single, 1 king and 1 king with 2 singles. All are en suite. Hair dryers in all.
- **Linen:** Good quality bedding and bathroom towels are provided.
- **Bathrooms:** All 6 bedrooms have compact en suite shower rooms and there is an upstairs family bathroom. Ground floor WC.
- **Children's Facilities:** We do not have facilities for young children or babies - we prefer an age group from age 5.
- **Outdoor:** Patio seating area with barbecue.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is no pool.
- **Parking:** On site secure parking for cars.
- **Smoking:** Please don't smoke inside the property.
