The Holt and The Roost are new builds and The Warren converted from the old coach house. The Den and The Sett have been created from the old stables. Set within 3 acres of mainly lawned grounds, and wider grounds extending to 28 acres of fields and woodland, Fletland Holiday Hamlet has fabulous riverfront tables and chairs for sitting back and enjoying the soothing river sounds, preparing the barbecue and sharing a glass of wine. The millpond and 600 metres of river provide an excellent opportunity to try out some fishing or head to the tennis court for some proper family fun and healthy competition.
The range of bedroom types works very well for a mixed age group with a helpful combination of kings, doubles and twins. Individually designed bedrooms have lovely decor and soft furnishings, comfortable spaces for a great night's sleep. 4 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, useful for anyone in the group who is less mobile. Modern bathrooms are plentiful, mostly shower cubicles but there's a freestanding bath in The Warren. The range of properties is perfect for family groups, with the option of private space for grandparents or young families.
If this is your first time to Lincolnshire, you certainly won't find the area short on places for a day out. Interesting days out for the whole family include a visit to historic Stamford only 7 miles away, known for its many church steeples and Burghley House. Other nearby attractions include Tallington Lakes, Rutland Water, Grimsthorpe Castle, Woolsthorpe Manor, Nene Valley Railway and Peterborough Cathedral. Plus there are 2 village pubs within walking distance. That's if you can tear yourself away from this wonderful River Glen location.
