Set within 3 hectares of grounds, the property is in a secluded location with wonderful views over the valley to the medieval village of Curemonte. Renovated by the English owners, the main house offers a large living room with open fireplace, kitchen/dining room which seats 12 people, outdoor terrace, 6 bedrooms (3 en suite and 3 sharing a family bathroom), and use of the large 14 x 7 metres swimming pool and adjacent games room in the barn. The games room is also a great location for receptions and parties - several weddings and birthday parties have been hosted here! For larger parties of up to 16 people you can rent Fleuret Cottage in additions to the main house. It is just 30 metres from the house and has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and large living/dining area and kitchen. It has its own outdoor terrace and parking area. The grounds of the property have been developed over the years and offer several outdoor terraces for eating and enjoying the views, a large garden to the rear of the property suitable for games, a children's play area including swings and a climbing frame and of course a large sun terrace around the pool. The property is situated at the end of 500 metre lane and has no passing traffic. The owners live on site but leave you very much alone - should you need more space or would like complete privacy this can be arranged for a supplement. Fleuret is just 3km from the medieval village of Curemonte and 10km from the Dordogne river. The area is well known for its beautiful villages, markets and fresh local produce - this is a big strawberry and walnut growing area and is also famed for 'confit de canard' and 'vin de paille'. The area has wonderful walks, is great for cycling (we can arrange bike hire), and of course canoeing on the river. There are three golf courses locally, the closest just 3km from Fleuret. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Sorry - no pets accommodated. The owners have one very friendly golden retriever who lives on site. - **Accessibility:** Unfortunately we are not equipped for guests with special needs. - **WiFi:** WiFi throughout the property, good mobile reception. - **Kitchen:** Large fully equipped kitchen/dining room and walk-in pantry and ample crockery. Additional kitchen in cottage if rented together. - **Dining Room:** Large table seating 12, and additional table seating 6, wood burning stove. - **Sitting Room:** Lovely spacious living room with wood burning stove, smart TV, plenty of games. The cottage also has a cosy living room. - **TV and Music Facilities:** The house offer smart TV, DVD player, BOSE iPod dock. The cottage offers satellite TV. - **Games Room:** Large games room with table tennis table, billiards, table football. There is a small fridge for keeping drinks fresh while by the pool. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout. The house has a wood burning stove in the living room and kitchen.
