All 5 hamlet properties offer top quality, comfort and the attention to detail of a good hotel, combined with the privacy, independence and space of home amidst the ease and style of English country house living. Four elements really set this hamlet apart from other self catering holiday rentals:

It’s a paradise for children: for pre-schoolers a playground with swings and slide, woodland walk with tree swings, bantams to feed and collect eggs and Carol our rabbit to feed and stroke. For teens: a games room with pool table, table tennis, air hockey and table football. A woodland walk with a 6mtr swing over the sloping ground – great for thrill seekers.

Some properties are pet friendly with safe, secured gardens and the most wonderful walks. Your pet will be comfortable too with: bowls, warm pet shower, towels and pet bed.

Exclusive use of the Saw Barn, a banqueting property, is included for groups taking the Hamlet Collection or Manor Group, and offers private dining where everyone can enjoy dining and relaxing together. Your seating requirements can be discussed. Saw Barn is centrally located within the hamlet and benefits from its own kitchen and WC facilities and is all on one level.

Forest Barns is set in an idyllic rural location, with the outdoor activities of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley on the doorstep. Also nearby are many pretty market towns, the glorious Cotswolds, and the cultural centres of Bath and Cheltenham.

Games Room

Under 5's play barn. Heated games room with Table tennis, air hockey, table football, pool table, books, board games.

Heating and Open Fires

Biomass on 24/7 central heating. Glass fronted log burners.

Bedrooms

Mix of ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms, twin rooms, king size and double beds. Many en suite.

Linen

Linens (400 thread count Egyptian cotton) are all provided. All beds are made up with duvets (non-allergy or feather-free are also available).

Bathrooms

Mostly en suite facilities. Well stocked with towels, dressing gowns and slipperettes.

Children's Facilities

Baby and Toddler packs includes travel cots, high chairs, stair-gates, baby monitor, child minding and babysitting. Playground.

Outdoor

All have secure gardens, garden furniture, barbecues (gas and charcoal fuel included). Woodland walks.
