## About The Property

Located on the banks of the River Tilt and surrounded by steep hills, Forest Lodge is perfect for a week’s escape and is an ideal base for stalking, fishing, walking, cycling, mountaineering or a special family celebration. Salmon fishing on Beat 4 of River Tilt, which flows by the lodge, is exclusively available to lodge guests. The lodge was renovated to the highest standard in 2021 and retains a loving loyal list of regular families that return every year. The lodge is accessible up a eight-mile private track that follows the river Tilt up from Blair Atholl.

Forest Lodge has the capacity to sleep up to 20 people along with a spacious drawing room with a large bay window facing south down the glen and an open fire. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a second sitting room.

Despite its secluded location, the lodge is a short drive away from the village of Blair Atholl where there are local shops, restaurants and pubs, a tennis court, swimming pool and a golf course. Guests at Forest Lodge also receive free entry into Blair Castle and Gardens.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets are welcome at all of our lodges.
- **Accessibility:** Unfortunately none of our lodges has facilities for wheelchairs.
- **WiFi:** There is Wifi available throughout the lodge.
- **Kitchen:** Fully equipped with large larder and appliances able to cope with a large group.
- **Dining Room:** Large dining room, seating up to 20 people.
- **Sitting Room:** The light drawing room has an open fire and plenty of seating. The sitting room has a TV and DVD player.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** TV and DVD in the sitting room.
- **Games Room:** There is no games room.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** There are two open fires in the lodge and a drying room for wet outdoor clothes. Central heating.
- **Bedrooms:** 5 double bedrooms, 4 twin bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms.
- **Linen:** Linen and towels are provided in all of our lodges.
- **Bathrooms:** 4 bathrooms, 1 shower room and 2 additional WCs.
- **Children's Facilities:** Cots and high chairs are available - please request on booking.
- **Outdoor:** Large private lawn and no nearby neighbours. Outdoor patio, barbecue area and furniture.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is no swimming pool at this property.
- **Parking:** There is ample parking for around 12 cars.
- **Smoking:** All of our lodges are no smoking.
