Four Oaks Estate offers the perfect business venue near Carlisle for large group or board meetings, getting your team together for training or an away day, or for team building activity sessions.
The Estate benefits from an easily accessed location from the North of England and Scotland via the M6 and the A7 making it a great choice for delegates travelling from different areas of the UK. The choice of 3 properties means that there are lots of options for sleeping accommodation and breakaway rooms. Four Oaks House has a large dining room, perfect for meals together as well as board meetings. There are plenty of other options spread across all 3 properties, too, for smaller breakout group sessions, and outside space for activities to get your team working together.
The countryside setting is perfect for walks along the River Eden and a short drive to the pub in nearby Rockcliffe after a day of creative business thinking. The games room has pool, table football and air hockey, and there’s on-site crazy golf, ideal for some healthy fun competition during the evenings. Alternatively relax in 1 of 3 LED-lit hot tubs and enjoy stargazing by night. Please note that the owners ask that there should be no outside noise post 9.30pm due to the residential setting.
Many of the bedrooms provide the choice of superkings or twins zip and links – all comfortable and tranquil places to unwind with stylish soft furnishings, garden views and good bathroom facilities, and well suited to a mixed group of individuals.
For an off-site experience, nearby Carlisle or Gretna Green might be an option or the Solway Coastal Path half an hour away. Within 10 minutes you can be on the edge of the Lake District with a wealth of outdoor activities, hikes and cycle routes to explore. Or Blackdyke Farm offers horse riding and use of a private hire swimming pool.
