## About The Property

Fronlwyd Longhouse is a characterful 400-year-old Welsh home for up to 15 guests, set in the peaceful Mid Wales countryside. With seven bedrooms, nine beds, four bathrooms and generous shared spaces, it is made for family gatherings, celebrations and relaxed stays with friends.

At the heart of the house is a spacious dining room where all 15 guests can eat together. The large country kitchen is well equipped for group catering, with a range cooker, American-style fridge-freezer, dishwasher and plenty of preparation space.

Two comfortable living rooms give a large group room to spread out. One has a wood-burning stove, while both offer space to talk, play games, watch television or enjoy a quiet moment.

Outside, guests have a private wood-fired hot tub overlooking the meadow, an outdoor dining area, charcoal barbecue and handmade pizza oven. The garden, meadow and surrounding countryside offer plenty of space to relax, while the area’s dark skies make evenings particularly memorable.

Children are welcome, with travel cots and highchairs. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

Birthdays, anniversaries, hen and stag stays are welcome by prior agreement. We may also be able to accommodate a very small wedding or micro-wedding. Please contact us before booking any celebration or event so that we can confirm that the house is suitable.

Fronlwyd is a peaceful base for exploring the Cambrian Mountains, southern Eryri and the Cardigan Bay coast. Walks, wildlife, market towns and memorable days out are all within reach, and guests receive our personal local guide before their stay.

Parking is provided, and a private 7kW electric vehicle charger is available by arrangement. We live at Fronlwyd and are nearby if needed, while giving guests complete privacy during their stay.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** 3 well behaved dogs max. to be kept on lead when outside - livestock close. £20 extra per dog - please confirm dogs are coming at time of booking.
- **Accessibility:** Due to the age of the house it is not accessible to wheelchair chair users. Thee is a bathroom on the ground floor if that helps.
- **Hot Tub:** Wood fired hot tub that can seat 8 adults.
- **WiFi:** Super fast broadband (1 gigabyte) throughout most of the house and outdoor seating area.
- **Kitchen:** Step back in time, features original Welsh slate floor, Inglenook, country kitchen with American fridge, range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine.
- **Dining Room:** What were the old stables is now a dining room for 16, full of character.
- **Sitting Room:** 2 sittings rooms, 1 with wood burner and French doors out to the hot tub and outdoor seating area. Both with TV, freesat, blu-ray player, x-box 360.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** 2 TVs in house, freesat and blu-ray players. For licensing reasons we don't provide a music centre, although guests are welcome to bring their own.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** We have a lovely wood burner in one of the lounges. Oil central heating.
- **Bedrooms:** 2 kingsize bedrooms, 1 double with an en suite, a super king, a triple with a bunk and a single and 2 further twins.
- **Linen:** Linen is with the hire, your beds are made up for your arrival.
- **Bathrooms:** 2 bathrooms with showers, 1 en suite shower and a further shower room.
- **Children's Facilities:** We have two travel cots and toddler bed - available by arrangement. 2 high chairs. Story books, outdoor play area.
- **Outdoor:** Pizza oven, hot tub, 4 acres of meadow and streams, BBQ, outdoor seating. Garden games. Childrens play area.
- **Parking:** Plenty of off-road parking adjacent to the house.
- **Smoking:** Smoking outside only.
- **Electric Vehicle Charging:** 7 kw charger available by arrangement for guests use - 30p per unit is charged.

## Booking Information

- Prices and minimum-stay requirements vary according to the season, day of arrival, demand and school holidays. Full-week stays may be required during peak school-holiday periods. Please get in touch to check availability and the exact price for your chosen dates.
- 
- A deposit of 50% of the total booking value is payable when the reservation is made. The remaining balance is due seven days before arrival.
- 
- Paid prepayments are fully refundable when a booking is cancelled at least 60 days before arrival. Payments are non-refundable for cancellations made after that point.
- 
- A £400 security deposit is taken as a card pre-authorisation one day before arrival and released five days after departure, subject to the property being left in accordance with the booking terms.
- 
- Celebrations, events and dog stays must be agreed with us before booking. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am.
