FSC Slapton Ley is located within the South Devon AONB close to Dartmoor National Park. Set within landscaped grounds with seating areas, shelters, kitchen garden and wildlife areas and surrounded by the 210-hectare Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve that includes the 4km long Slapton Sands beach and the largest natural freshwater lake in the Southwest. Accommodation is set across 3 buildings sleeping 135 guests in 34 bedrooms with the option of hiring an additional property (Uplands) sleeping a further 27 guests in 8 bedrooms. Middlegrounds (sleeps 17 guests in 5 en-suite bedrooms). Mercer (sleeps 36 guests in 12 bedrooms – all en-suite apart from 1 single which has dedicated shower/toilet. Chell (sleeps 82 guests in 17 bedrooms – all with shared toilet/shower facilities. Uplands (Separate self-catering property) sleeping 27 guests in 8 bedrooms – 1 en-suite, the others with shared toilet/shower facilities. There are 2 x triple ground floor accessible bedrooms in Chell with ramps available to access the ground floor of Whitegates (dining room), Mercer and Chell but not Middlegrounds. The Centre has a large dining room seating 72 at one time. The kitchen is available for self-catering groups that hire the whole centre exclusively and is fully equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay as it is used regularly to cater for a wide range of groups and sizes. There are several comfortable sitting rooms, one with a TV. There are 2 games rooms with a pool table, table tennis and table football. Wireless Internet is available throughout the centre. There are 8 class/work rooms all with smartboards/AV projectors seating 16-50. The largest conference suitable space seats 50 and is one of the games rooms. The village hall (next door) can be used as a conference space, to fit about 100 people and is chargeable. Parking available for around 20 cars. Outside BBQ and pizza oven, but no fire pit. Activities - It is possible to book activities for adults and children (subject to availability), these are chargeable and must be booked in advance. All heating is either through radiators or underfloor heating controlled centrally. - **Bedrooms:** 34 bedrooms in main house including twin and family rooms, two are designed for accessibility. Uplands sleeps a further 27 guests in 8 bedrooms. - **Linen:** All linen provided.
