FSC Start Bay Centre is located within a mile of the sea. This old School sleeps up to 41 in 8 bedrooms. Set within its own grounds the property is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Enclosed gardens with a large lawn, BBQ and campfire area, low ropes course and safe play area are ideal for group activities and games. Games are available to borrow. 1 x 3-bed, 3 x 4-bed, 3 x 6-bed & 1 x 8-bed - mainly bunks. The property has individual communal showers and toilets as well as 3 en suite bathrooms. Bedrooms are situated at either side of the dining room and common room on both floors. Limited disabled facilities. There is ramp access to the property and 2 en suite rooms that are good for easy access but not suitable for wheelchair users. Downstairs accommodation. The grounds around the property are partly accessible. Dining capacity in one sitting is 41 with long style tables for everyone to sit round to share a meal together. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay including a 6-ring gas hob and double oven. Microwave, fridges and freezer, dishwasher, kettles, toasters, large pans and all utensils and crockery. Large cosy sitting room area adjacent to dining room with interactive whiteboard. Sofa and chairs to seat everyone. There is a common room with TV, WiFi and games. Also a separate chalet outside with table tennis table (please note the chalet is currently unavailable, pending repairs). Parking for 15 cars. Well behaved dogs are welcome for a small charge. There is also an area for camping and a safe, fenced in pond area. Slapton Village is a short walk away which provides facilities including a community village shop selling fresh produce and two pubs (the Queens Arms and Tower Inn). For walkers and cyclists both the Southwest Coast Path and NCN 28 run close by. Enjoy the Start Bay coastline with spectacular scenery and a wide range of opportunities for exploration and relaxation. Go surfing at Batham, kayaking at Slapton, watch the seals or visit the Lighthouse at Start Point, relax on the beach at Slapton Sands or discover Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Well behaved pets welcome, charged at £20 per dog per stay - **Accessibility:** Limited disabled facilities.
