Gatehouse of Fleet is a wonderful location for these 7 beautifully appointed contemporary lodges, nestled in the Galloway countryside and with far reaching views towards the sea. All stylishly designed holiday homes with open plan living, 4 also have a luxury hot tub and there's a sauna and cold plunge for guests to use. Fleet View is ideal for 3 couples or a larger family, a luxury space with direct access to a patio with furniture and a hot tub, with dogs welcome too. The 3 bedrooms are set up as a super king, king or twin and another king, to meet the needs of a mixed group. The other lodges offer a home from home experience for a family, while the snugs sleeping 2 are cosy boltholes for couples or grandparents seeking a little extra privacy during their stay. Outside areas are a combination of courtyard gardens, patios and decked areas; enjoy outdoor living and al fresco dinners or drinks. Please note that dogs do need to be kept on leads in the gardens as there is livestock on the site. The Gatehouse of Fleet itself is home to the Mill On The Fleet visitor centre, with Cardoness Castle and Cally Gardens nearby for a day out. There are any number of circular walks from Fleet including 'Roon the Water', Carstramon Wood and Clints of Dromore. Castle Douglas is Scotland's only designated foodie town - pick up fabulous local produce for a taste of Scotland. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Sea Glass, Fleet View and High Tide welcome dogs.
