This pretty Ayrshire holiday house is a great place for friends and multi generation family breaks away. The big advantage of Galrigside is in being all on one level, making it perfect for any guest with mobility issues. We welcome wedding celebration parties too - there's space for a marquee, or the indoor arena can be used as a function space, or for camping/camper van parking. Riding and carriage driving lessons available on request. There are plenty of opportunities for walks from the door, with unspoilt beaches within 15 minutes and watersports a few miles away too. Golf courses are nearby, Dundonald Castle 5 minutes and Ayr racecourse about 8 miles away. A trip to Glasgow is a definite must with its many museums, cultural attractions, night life and fantastic shopping. The A77 and A78 Highlands Coastal Route is easily accessed. Galrigside is set in a secure courtyard, ideal for socialising and a safe place for the children to run about. The balconied decking area accessed from the lounge is the perfect position to enjoy an al fresco meal against the countryside panoramic backdrop. The open plan kitchen and lounge is a conducive layout and excellent for preparing a meal for everyone. Eat in the formal dining room or in the kitchen and relax on sofas in the sitting room with a glass of your favourite tipple. The gym is well equipped for fitness activities but can double up as a studio for yoga or dance. The snug is a popular spot for those seeking peace and quiet as well as their own TV, ideal for an extended family. 5 bedrooms overall; 2 double with en suite, 2 double and 1 quadruple with 2 shared bathrooms, one with luxury freestanding bath and the other with extra large shower. Comfortable spaces with modern fixtures, pretty soft furnishings and external rural views. House trained pets are welcome. For pets that cannot stay at home and not suitable to remain in the house, indoor stables are available for use as temporary kennels.
