This classic 200 year old thatched country cottage is in the pretty village of West Moors and very close to Holt Heath Woodland Nature Reserve. The exquisite gardens and enclosed courtyard are lovely spots to relax either in the 4 seater hot tub or on the patio while the youngsters burn off some energy in the play area. The games room is well equipped with table tennis, air hockey and pool, great fun for some competitive family entertainment. The snug and private bar space is a very sociable area for a drink. Families and friends will love this property for its ambience and range of fun facilities.

West Moors Country Park is close to Galtons and Paultons Park Peppa Pig World is under 30 minutes away. A day at the beach or the Aviation Museum is easily do-able at Bournemouth within 20 minutes. For golfers, Ferndown 18 Hole Championship Course is on the doorstep as well as a pay and play. Wimborne Minster is close by and worth a look around at historic sites, shops and exhibitions rounded off nicely with a coffee at a pavement cafe. Plenty to do.

Galtons has a very well equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing meals for the group or indeed somewhere for a hired in chef to cook for a special do. The open plan kitchen diner enjoys underfloor heating and access to an outside seating area. The lounge is a charming room to relax in with a cosy inglenook fireplace with wood stove and Sky TV. There's a wonderful welcome pack for you too, and fresh flowers in the house.

Ground floor bedrooms and an en suite wet room suitable for the less mobile prove popular with multi generation families. The glamping pod is an excellent addition offering a further bedroom and a bit of privacy if required. There's a choice of kings, twins and doubles and all bedrooms are stylish with tasteful soft furnishings. The sunken bath in the master bedroom is a triumph in design. 3 contemporary bathrooms are en suite but there are others across the 3 floors.

- Glamping pod sleeping 2 at 10% cottage rental rate. 4 person hot tub available for £325 a weekend or £400 for a week. Friday or Monday is changeover day. £500 refundable damage deposit required. £56 Cleaning fee applicable. Dogs charged at £40.
