The Garden House is situated just a few minutes stroll from the centre of historic Stamford, and close to Burghley Park. The house offers 19 en suite twin rooms and beautiful walled gardens, along with free WiFi and parking.
The house is perfect for any youth and student group, sports clubs and school trips – the property can be offered on a self-catering basis or with all meals catered for if required. We also have mini buses and drivers should you need transport during your stay or need airport transfers.
Your visit can be tailor made and we can be very flexible to suit your needs and have a variety of established suppliers in most areas of interest. Sport related activities can be arranged in the local area. Courses in English language can also be arranged.
With 19 bedrooms the Garden House can accommodate 16 to 42 people, with the rooms configured to suit your group requirements. There is one accessible room available. The house also offers plenty of social space, including a large lounge, conservatory dining room and games room. There are also kitchens, laundry room, a meeting room. Outside are car parking for twenty, patio and gardens.
Rooms for group leaders can be provided and the communal rooms can easily be configured to use as a classroom. Flip boards, whiteboard and projectors are available.
There is a conservatory dining area with seating for 40 guests. Full English breakfast, lunch and evening meals can be catered for on request and the property can also be offered on a self-catering basis too.

Dog Friendly

Dogs are allowed with no charge. They must not sleep on the furniture and a bin is provided for waste. Dogs must be declared at time of booking.

Sitting Room

Comfortable large living area with sofas, wall mounted large screen TV. Also two meeting rooms that can be used as cinema room with projector/screen.

TV and Music Facilities

Large screen TV with Sky Sports, Netflix and other streaming services in the main lounge plus DVD player and Karaoke machine.

Games Room

Bar area (bring your own!), pool table, and 2 screens for games consoles. Numerous Board games for all ages and DVDs. Seating areas.

Main house can accommodate 42 people. Rooms configured to your requirements - doubles, twins, family. Coach House has family room, double and twin.

Linen

All the bed linen including towels are white and provided at no extra cost.

All rooms have en suite bathrooms with shower facilities.

Cots and high chairs can be provided. The gardens are completely secure so a delight to both children and dogs

Outdoor

Large secure walled gardens with patio areas, garden furniture and barbecues. Lawns with flower borders and shrubs.

Secure free parking for up to 20 at the rear of the property.

Prices for self-catering with all linen, cleaning, gas, electricity included.Min stay 2 nights for weekends only 1 night for midweek. Arrivals from 4pm departing 11am unless by prior arrangement 25% deposit required to secure booking.

Location

The Garden House is located a 5 mins walk from Stamford train station and 10 mins from the bus station. The A1 is just a 2 minute drive from the house which is the main road for access north & south. We have free car parking for up to 20 cars

Stamford - is where we are located and just a 5 minute walk to the river and shopping areas.The city of Peterborough is 20 minutes drive away, so is Oakham which is a pretty market town.
Walk 5 minutes to the town centre. Drive 5 minutes to Waitrose or Morrison's supermarkets. Stamford has some lovely exclusive shops in the cobbled lanes off the main street. Market day is Friday.
The William Cecil, the Bull and Swan, and the George Hotel are all a stones throw away with large selection of pubs and restaurants only 5 minute walk. Street food to fine dining - we have it all!
East Midlands Airport - 46 miles, Birmingham Airport - 71 miles, London Stansted Airport - 72 miles, London Luton Airport - 74 miles.
Stamford Train Station - a 5 minute walk away.
Stamford Bus Station - a 10 minute walk away.
